McCain Pickers Competition 2026

    The promoter is McCain Foods (NZ) Limited, NZBN: 9429039562739, Registered address: Meadows Road, Washdyke, Timaru, New Zealand.  (“Promoter”).

1. Competition Period

The competition commences on 1st May  and closes at 11:59pm NZST on 31st May 2026 (“Competition Period”).

Entries received outside of this period will not be accepted.

2. Eligibility

Entry is open to selected Foodstuffs South Island retail stores only, specifically:

  • 43 New World stores
  • 13 PAK’nSAVE stores

(together, “Eligible Stores”), as outlined in the official eligible store list provided by the Promoter.

Each Eligible Store is permitted one (1) entry only.

Only entries submitted on behalf of an Eligible Store listed will be considered valid. Any entries submitted by individuals or stores not included in the Eligible Store list will be deemed invalid.

3. Entry Requirements

To qualify for entry, each Eligible Store must:

  • Range and stock all four (4) participating McCain Pickers SKUs during the Competition Period; and
  • Have recorded scan data confirming sales of all four (4) applicable SKUs.

Entry validation will be conducted using Nielsen scan data as at 14th June.

Each Eligible Store that meets the above criteria will automatically receive one (1) valid entry into the draw.

The only entry confirmation needed from the store is manually entering via the landing page.   We will validate entry using scan data 14th June prior to the Draw being conducted on the 16th of June.

Multiple entries are not permitted. Only one (1) entry per Eligible Store will be accepted.

4. Prize Details

There is one (1) prize per Eligible Store winner, consisting of:

  • One (1) McCain Pickers branded air fryer for store staffroom/cafeteria use.
  • Total prize value: NZD $725.13 (excl. GST) (Air fryer $357.15 + branding $367.98)

The prize is not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash.

5. Winner Selection & Notification

The draw will be conducted via a randomised selection process administered by Arid Zone on 16th June 2026

Winners will be determined from all valid entries received during the Competition Period.

6. Prize Delivery

Prizes will be delivered to the winning stores by a Storelink representative within one (1) month of the draw date.

The Promoter will not be responsible for any delays in delivery outside of its reasonable control.

7. General Conditions

  • The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and eligibility of entrants (including store eligibility and scan data validation).
  • The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entry that does not comply with these Terms & Conditions.
  • If for any reason the competition is not capable of running as planned, the Promoter reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition.

8. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter and its associated agencies shall not be liable for any loss, damage or injury suffered or sustained in connection with the competition or prize.

9. Privacy

There will be NO personal data collected. 

10. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of New Zealand.
